The Evolution of life histories in early tetrapods

General Objective

The life cycles of extant land and vertebrates are highly diverse. Here we analyze how these ontogenies evolved and which life history strategies they represent.
We study traits of growth, development, reproduction, locomotion, feeding, perception, forming the building stones for an inclusive life history reconstruction.
